Labrador City, NL - For the true snowmobiling enthusiast there is no event quite like Cain’s Quest Snowmobile Endurance Race. Muscle and man are getting ready once again to take on mother nature’s sense of humour as racers gear up to test their physical limitations and mental fortitude. With Cain’s Quest fast approaching and the route finally in place, the 2010 race is shaping up to be our best race yet.
Racers from across Canada and United States will be starting their engines and defying gravity as they take to the snow and icy terrain of the Labrador region.
Already teams from the Us, Ontario and Labrador are registering for the 2010 event.
Registration has been open for only a month and already many new and promising teams have signed up to embark upon their first journey of the Labrador wildness and compete with race veterans for the title of 2010 race champion. The week of March 13-20 promised to be a week of stellar competition and excitement
Cain’s Quest 2010 will showcase to the world, areas of Labrador most people have never seen and sure to bring all of the adventure and the greatest challenge race teams will ever endure. With this year’s race taking teams as far north as Nain, racers will see some of the most scenic parts of Labrador.
Early bird registration ends January 5th, 2010 and late registration will be open from January 6th – 31st. Early bird registrants will save $1500 in registration fees and secure their name on the Cain’s Quest 2010 roster.

Please be advised that Official Cain's Quest Team Numbers will be assigned to teams upon registration. Teams will not be permitted to use a team number that they assigned to themselves as their team number for the 2010 event. |
The 2010 Cain's Quest has been cancelled due to dangerous conditions caused by unusual weather patterns.

Cain’s Quest Snowmobile Endurance Race brings EXTREME sports to a whole new level! The Challenge? Over 2500 kms of back country racing through Labrador’s remote wilderness. The 2011 race will see teams ravelling from Labrador City to Churchill Falls, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Rigolet, Makkovik, Postville, Hopedale, Natuashish, Nain, Labrador's most northern community, then back through Churchill falls and on to the finish line in Labrador City with a few remote checkpoints thrown in the route. Teams of 2 riders race day and night guided by GPS and driven by determination and will. They will brave sub-zero temperatures, unpredictable weather, mechanical failures and rugged terrain. Cain’s Quest is what extreme racing is all about.
The 2011 purse is $65,000 in COLD HARD CASH and the chance to Challenge the Legend and become the next Champion of Cain’s Quest; CANADA'S LONGEST SNOWMOBILE ENDURANCE RACE and what racers who have endured this grueling event , are calling the WORLD'S TOUGHEST!

The Antique Snowmobile Show and Mini Cain's Quest for the kids will be taking place at the Labrador City arena on March 19th starting at 6pm. Call 944-5011 to register for these events.
Polaris Figure Skating Club's Ice Show will take place at 6pm on the 13th and 2pm on the 14th at the Labrador City arena.
Watch for other events coming up on the week of March 13th.
